Harbor Series: Crosscurrents

A Gathering for Women Navigating What Comes Next

September 17, 2026 Portsmouth, New Hampshire

There are moments in life when something begins to shift.

A new opportunity.

A new challenge.

A new season.

A quiet realization that the version of success that once fit no longer does.

For many women, these moments arrive while balancing leadership, caregiving, ambition, relationships, purpose, and possibility.

Crosscurrents was created for those moments.

Join us for an intimate gathering of women leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers as we explore leadership, reinvention, resilience, mentorship, and the evolving journey of what comes next.

Because possibility often begins before certainty.

The Crosscurrents Promise

Every gathering makes a promise.

Some promise information.
Some promise inspiration.
Some promise connection.

Crosscurrents promises something different.

Women arrive carrying questions, responsibilities, transitions, ambitions,
uncertainties, and possibilities.

They leave with something else.

Permission to evolve.
The courage to embrace change before they have all the answers.
The confidence to trust themselves and what comes next.
A deeper belief that they are not alone.
A community of women who will continue to support, challenge, encourage, and carry one another forward.

Because possibility often begins before certainty.

What Is a Crosscurrent?

A crosscurrent occurs when multiple currents move in different directions at the same time.

Life often feels much the same.

Career and caregiving.
Ambition and contentment.
Responsibility and possibility.
The person we have been and the person we are becoming.

These forces do not always move in the same direction.

Yet crosscurrents are not signs that we are lost. They are signs that we are growing.

Growth is rarely linear. Evolution is rarely simple. Some of life's most meaningful transformations happen as we learn to navigate competing forces.

That is why we gather.

Not to eliminate the crosscurrents, but to learn how to navigate them together.
